Goals
At AVGO, we are dedicated to supporting all of you in achieving your goals:
- AVGO is a not-for-profit organisation to support and sponsor actions towards micro and small enterprises, women and young entrepreneurs, and microfinance institutions.
- Our mission is to stand as an active member of the coalition to end the global poverty.
AVGO put the focus on three areas of sustainable development:
- Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE),
- Young and Women Entrepreneurs (YWE),
- Microfinance Institutions (MFI).
Values
We are promoting the establishment of ethical financing, sustainable development technologies and social networking experiences.
- AVGO has grown out of the work and experience of its founders, from the recognition of the need for sustainable actions toward an enhanced quality of life not yet accessible by the large majority of people in many countries.
- AVGO Members and team of volunteers (named the AVGONAUTS) are individuals and business people from all continents who are sharing the fundamental values that are essential to peaceful international behaviours: freedom, equality and democracy, solidarity and tolerance, respect of people and nature, ethical financing and shared responsibility.
- Ethical financing includes two main aspects: first the financing operations shall follow the best practices in lending with transparency and profit results; second the risk on the operation is shared by lenders and not taken only by borrowers and their collaterals.
